Navarakizhi

What is Navarakizhi?

Navarakizhi, also known as Shashtika Shali Pinda Sweda, is an Ayurvedic treatment method that involves a massage using a combination of milk and rice to induce sweating and alleviate pain and stiffness. The primary objective of this therapy is to enhance muscle strength and rejuvenate the body.

This therapeutic procedure utilizes an external application method to harness the nutritional benefits of milk and a specific type of rice, which are processed together with therapeutic herbs. By applying this mixture to the body, Navarakizhi provides nourishment and strength to the various tissues, including muscles, bones, and soft tissues.
